         For this course, Bill Leffler teams up with old hands in the petroleum industry to deliver an agenda that typically includes:

-         Exploration and Production: geology and the origins of petroleum; exploration; drilling and development; producing; E&P company strategies

-         Natural gas: gas plant operations; pipelines and transmission; local distribution; regulation

-         Refining: types and values of crude oil; refinery processes; making gasoline; refining company strategies

-         Petrochemicals: processes that use petroleum

-         Marketing: retail gasoline outlets; competition and pricing; marketing strategies.
